Vasile Ion

Vasile Ion has a diverse range of work experience in the IT and telecommunication industry. Vasile started their career in 1998 as a Sales and Technical Assistant at DataCentre Ltd. Vasile then worked as a Telecommunication Engineer at Special Telecommunication Services from 2000 to 2003. Vasile later became a self-employed IT Technician, providing IT support and services from 2003 to 2012, including working as a Sub-Contractor for LPL Construction and ECorr Plant Hire. In 2013, they joined Hackett London as a 1st Line Support/Helpdesk Support, where they dealt with users both locally and remotely. Vasile also worked at Fujitsu as an IT Support Analyst from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Tri-Star Packaging as an IT Infrastructure Support, where they were responsible for supporting various IT systems and managing network security. Currently, Vasile is working as an IT Support at Bunzl UK and Ireland since 2020.

Vasile Ion has a diverse education history spanning several fields. In 1993, they began their academic journey at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Vasile successfully completed their degree in 1998.

In 2012, Vasile embarked on their first professional training at Just IT Training Ltd in London, where they enrolled in the Network Professional Programme. This intensive program, which lasted for two years, focused on Information Technology.

During the same year, Vasile also engaged in self-study in the field of Information Technology, specifically regarding Microsoft technologies.

Additionally, Vasile has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2010, they achieved the CSCS NVQ Level 2 certification from the Construction Certificate Scheme. The following year, they obtained the CPCS Plant Operator certification from the same institution. In 2012, they obtained multiple certifications from Microsoft, including A+, MCITP - Enterprise Desktop Administrator, MCSA - Windows 7, and MCTS - Windows 7. Vasile furthered their expertise in 2013 by obtaining the MCTS - Windows Server 2008, Active Directory certification from Microsoft. Most recently, in 2019, Vasile acquired the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA Routing and Switching) certification from Cisco.
