John Gateley

John Gateley is a seasoned fashion professional with extensive experience in product technology and pattern cutting. Currently serving as a Senior Product Technologist at Burberry since February 2017, John has a robust background that includes a tenure as a Senior Pattern Cutter at TOPSHOP TOPMAN from January 2006 to February 2017, where responsibilities included collaborating with designers on new blocks and styling. Prior to this, John worked as a Garment Technologist at French Connection, overseeing the children’s wear department and coordinating fit meetings. John holds a BA Hon's degree in Fashion from the Surrey Institute of Art & Design, completed from 1997 to 2002.
