Nicolaas Van Der Wath

Nicolaas van der Wath is a seasoned economist and business owner with extensive experience in economic analysis and property management. As the director and owner of Nicanor (Pty) Ltd. since December 2012, Nicolaas oversees financial bookkeeping, tax reporting, and general management of rental properties and guesthouses. Additionally, Nicolaas serves as an economist at the Bureau for Economic Research, which involves processing survey data, writing economic overviews, and forecasting commodity prices. Previous roles include market analyst at Louis Dreyfus Commodities, senior economist at the South African Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, chief planner at the Department of Housing, and tutor at the University of Pretoria. Nicolaas holds a Master's and Honours degree in Econometrics from the University of Pretoria, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in the same field.
