David Jang

David Jang is a Research Economist at the Bureau of Economic Analysis since June 2023. Prior to this role, David served as a Teaching Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin from August 2018 to May 2023, where David completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics. In addition, David gained experience as an intern on the Equity & Derivative Strategy team at BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking in late 2014, and served as a Military Police officer with the US 8th Army Korean Augmentation to the United States Army from November 2012 to August 2014. David holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Yonsei University.
