Deborah Charette

Deborah Charette has a diverse work experience spanning several prestigious organizations and roles. Deborah currently serves as the Deputy Chief Counsel at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, a position they have held since April 2020. Prior to that, they worked at the US Department of the Interior for 18 years, starting as an Assistant Solicitor in September 2002 and eventually leaving in April 2020. Deborah spent the previous decade at the US Small Business Administration as an Assistant General Counsel from March 1992 to September 2002. Deborah began their career as a Litigation Associate at Winston & Strawn LLP, where they worked from 1990 to 1992.

Deborah Charette has a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law. Deborah also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Oregon, where they studied Fine/Studio Arts, General.
