Michael L Ramirez

Michael L Ramirez currently serves as Chief of the Office of Quality Operations at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing since June 2011, and also holds the position of Division Manager for the Analytical and Method Development Division. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Chemist at NAVSEA and Scientist at the University of Puerto Rico, as well as a Post Doctoral Researcher focused on Structured Organic Particulate Systems. Earlier positions at Hewlett-Packard involved being a Chemist and member of the Technical Staff, specializing in thermal analysis, spectroscopy, and surface characterization. Michael L Ramirez began a career in research as an Assistant at the Federal Aviation Administration. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Applied Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez, earned between 2004 and 2009, with a focus on physical and analytical chemistry.
