Sam Yang

Sam Yang's work experience includes holding the position of Information Technology Specialist/Team Lead at the Bureau of Labor Statistics since May 2019. Prior to this, Sam worked at Custom Software Systems, Inc. from December 2014 to May 2019, serving as a Technical Team Lead/Senior Software Engineer/AWS Cloud Solutions Architect. From February 2007 to December 2014, Sam worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, where they held various roles including Associate, Senior Software Engineer, and Team/Tech Lead, providing software system design, development, maintenance, enhancement, and end-user support for federal agencies. Sam also has experience as a Senior Software Engineer at 3E Company from September 2005 to February 2007, as a Senior Developer/Team Lead at PCCI (now KForce Government Services - KGS) from August 2001 to September 2005, and as a Programmer/Analyst at BusinessObject Solutions from July 1999 to August 2001, working with various technologies including .Net, Java, C++, and ASP/Visual Basic.

Sam Yang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tsinghua University from 1988 to 1993.
