Melissa Laurie

Melissa Laurie is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Finance Operations Manager at the Bureau of Meteorology since August 2023. Prior to this role, Melissa held the position of Management Accountant at the Department of Parliamentary Services from September 2021 to September 2023. Melissa's career also includes significant experience as a Senior Finance Officer at Community Housing Canberra from May 2015 to September 2021, as well as serving as Office Manager at Industry Capability Network from September 2007 to May 2015. Earlier in the career, Melissa worked as an Administration Officer at Capital Waste Skips from February 2003 to October 2006. Melissa holds a Diploma of Business Administration from the Canberra Institute of Technology, completed between 2008 and 2010, and attended Braidwood Central School from 1994 to 2000.
