Amanda Leiu is a Senior Associate at Burges Salmon LLP, where since January 2019, expertise has been developed in the firm’s Commercial and Technology team, focusing on data protection, commercial contracts, and consumer matters across various sectors including retail and transport. Previously, Amanda served as an Associate at Fox Williams from March 2016 to December 2018, specializing in data protection and privacy issues, as well as information security. Amanda's legal career began as a Trainee Solicitor with experience in Dispute Resolution, Employment, Commerce and Technology, and Corporate sectors. Early roles included paralegal positions at Ashurst, Pinsent Masons, and Azmi & Associates, as well as a tax consultant role at Abbey Protection Group Limited. Educational qualifications include a Legal Practice Course and an LLB from BPP Law School, alongside a degree in Sociology from the University of Leeds.
