Carolyn Marquis is currently employed as a Ski & Bike Patrol at Burke Mountain since July 2021, following a notable tenure at the University of Vermont as a Laboratory Research Technician from June 2019 to July 2021, focusing on cancer biology. Prior experiences include roles as an Emergency Medicine Research Associate and Volunteer Ski Patroller, where responsibilities encompassed patient assessments and research project assistance. Carolyn has also engaged in academic tutoring and leadership within outdoor activities, demonstrating a commitment to education and safety. A recipient of the National Science Foundation fellowship, research pursuits have addressed molecular motor proteins and their roles in cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Carolyn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Vermont and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
