Jonathan Jenkins serves as the Dean of Students at Burlington Christian Academy since August 2022, where the focus is on inspiring students through exceptional academics and Biblical Truth. With extensive experience in student ministry, Jonathan holds the position of Director for the Youth Program at The Gideons International, providing worship and teaching for children aged 7-9 during the annual convention. Previously, Jonathan was the Lead Pastor at First Baptist Church Haw River and Bearwallow Baptist Church, where responsibilities included preaching, teaching, and guiding church growth. Jonathan also worked as the Minister of Education/Youth at West Hendersonville Baptist Church. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Christian Education from Shepherd's Theological Seminary, Jonathan has completed a Graduate Certificate in School Leadership and holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion/Religious Studies, among other educational credentials.
