Elise Copps

Elise Copps serves as the Director of Communications & Engagement at Burlington Public Library since April 2022, leading programming, marketing, communications, and equity initiatives while overseeing data, outreach, and fundraising. Prior to this role, Elise held various positions at Hamilton Health Sciences from March 2016 to April 2022, including Manager of Marketing & Communications and Manager of Digital Communications. Earlier experience includes working as a Public Relations Specialist and Health and Lifestyle Reporter at CHCH, along with roles as a Videojournalist, Intern at CTV News, Co-Host on On Campus on RogersTV, and Anchor/Reporter for Fanshawe Learns on RogersTV. Elise commenced a career in journalism as an Intern Reporter at Blackburn Radio Inc and was selected as a Side Dish Host for Real Women of Philadelphia. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts from Queen's University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Journalism from Fanshawe College.
