Prince Orora has a diverse work experience across various industries. Prince started their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Biologic Solutions Ltd., where they were responsible for sourcing, installing, and maintaining electrical machines for the medical industry. Prince then joined Rift Valley Railways as an Engineering Management trainee, where they underwent management training in the Engineering Department. At Rift Valley Railways, they also served as a Maintenance Planning and Control Engineer, overseeing the maintenance planning of locomotives and wagons working between Kenya and Uganda.
Following their time at Rift Valley Railways, Orora joined Kenya Airways as a Production Planning and Control Engineer, where they managed the maintenance activities for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet. Prince'scontributions to the planning engineer role helped successfully launch three of Kenya Airways' major routes. Prince then joined Moko Home + Living, initially as a Head of Operations, where they achieved a significant reduction in delivery costs. Orora later took on the role of Chief of Staff, leading cross-functional projects and creating various financial models for the company's series B raise and financial planning.
Currently, Orora is working at BURN as the Director of Global Sales Operations. In this role, they are responsible for coordinating sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting across multiple countries in Africa. Prince also focuses on maintaining high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency within the sales organization.
Prince Orora began their education at The Technical University of Kenya, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. However, it is unclear when they started and finished this degree program. Following their undergraduate studies, Prince attended Moi High School-Kabarak, where they obtained a KCSE certificate, indicating completion of the high school curriculum. Lastly, in 2016 until 2017, they enrolled at the University of Nairobi to pursue a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus in Operations Management. However, it is indicated that they did not complete this program.
