Gabe Haack

Gabe Haack has worked in the software engineering field since 2011. Gabe began their career at Epic, where they provided primary technical support to 10 healthcare organizations for the MyChart and EpicCare Link web applications. In 2014, they joined Bluebeam, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they were a full-stack engineer on the core cloud team responsible for Bluebeam Studio. Gabe also led design and development for a critical project to bring Studio into compliance with the GDPR “right to be forgotten” requirement. In 2018, they joined Ad Hoc Labs (makers of Burner + Dialed) as a Platform Engineer and was later promoted to Senior Platform Engineer in 2019 and Lead Platform Engineer in 2021. During their time at Ad Hoc Labs, they led and developed a complete redesign of the subscription system, utilizing RTDN/App Store Server Notifications and keeping a history of subscription events. Gabe also developed a service in C# to monitor customer mobile application health, tracking results and alerting appropriate support staff, eliminating long unresolved downtimes and contributing to a full star increase in app store rating.

Gabe Haack attended Northwestern University from 2007 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
