Bernie Schumacher is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in IT strategy and management across various industries. Currently serving as Principal Consultant at The Burnham Group LLC since April 2008, Bernie has provided technology leadership for significant discovery activities in the chemical sector and developed remediation programs for luxury hospitality properties. Previous roles include Director of IT and Group Head of IT Shared Services at General Chemical Corp, where accountability for enterprise-wide IT services and leadership in major systems implementations were key responsibilities. Additionally, Bernie has held consulting positions focusing on business divestment and IT strategy in the biomedical field, as well as executive leadership roles in prominent organizations such as Novartis and Block Drug Company, overseeing substantial IT budgets and global initiatives.
