Brenda A. Ogutu

Brenda A. Ogutu is a seasoned professional in research and project management, currently serving as a Senior Associate at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics since October 2018. In this role, Brenda manages and executes large-scale multidisciplinary research and advisory projects related to governance, health, financial inclusion, and environmental sectors across various African nations. Previous positions include Associate and Senior Analyst at Busara, Graduate Student Researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, and various roles within urban planning and research firms. Brenda holds a Master’s Degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field from the University of Nairobi.
