Chansa-Barbara Chalabesa

Chansa-Barbara Chalabesa is an experienced professional with a diverse background in project coordination, strategy consulting, and business development. Currently serving as an ESG Coordinator and Project Coordinator at Bushveld Minerals since November 2018, Chansa-Barbara has previously held positions such as Strategy Consultant at Serenje PTY Ltd and EA/Business Manager at Katlego Global Logistics. A former Programme Manager for Food Systems at FANRPAN, Chansa-Barbara was responsible for the coordination and implementation of the Comprehensive Africa Agriculture Development Programme in southern Africa. In addition, experience as a Diversity Facilitator at The Diversity Institute focused on managing workplace diversity. Chansa-Barbara holds a Master's degree in International Relations and Affairs from the University of the Witwatersrand, a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Comparative & International Politics, and a Bachelor of Arts in Industrial Sociology & Politics, both from the University of Cape Town.
