Eeva Salminen

Eeva Salminen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Eeva started their career at eBRC/Tampere University of Technology as a Project Operations Manager, where they were responsible for strategic planning, project management, client relationships, and organizing international projects and events. Eeva then worked as an Investment Manager & Project Manager at Professia Oy, managing investment activities and projects for the ICT sector. Eeva later joined Deloitte Finland as a Business Developer, before moving to Tekes as a Senior Advisor, where they supported and mentored potential startups for global growth. At Tekes, they were also the Director of Startup Companies, leading a unit serving the Health, wellbeing, and services startup client group. In their current role as Senior Director at Business Finland, Eeva is responsible for leading the Industry & Accounts, Consumer & Health unit, and also served as the Senior Director for Startup Companies. Throughout their career, Eeva has been a member of various leadership teams and has made financing decisions for client companies.

Eeva Salminen obtained their M.Sc. (eng.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tampere University of Technology from 1996 to 2000. Eeva further pursued their education and received an MBA degree in MBA from California State University - East Bay in the year 2001.
