Jessica Witten

Jessica Witten is a seasoned professional in human rights management with significant experience in various sectors, including beauty, technology, and agriculture. Currently serving as the Human Rights Manager at BSR since January 2020, Jessica conducts human rights assessments, develops financial resilience training programs for women in the shea supply chain in Ghana, and leads initiatives on gender equality in Indonesia. Previous roles include managing international women's empowerment programs under HERproject and contributing to global public policy at The Walt Disney Company. Jessica holds a Master’s degree in Human Rights from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Wheaton College. Additional experience includes internships at the U.S. Department of State and the International Monetary Fund.
