James Lin

James Lin is a Senior Python Developer at Business Technology Group (BTG) since August 2018, where expertise includes Django, Python, ReactJS, and database management, and recognition as a Quarterly Champion in July 2022. As the owner of James Lin Software Development since January 2010, James specializes in personal projects leveraging a tech stack of Python/Django, Jenkins, Ansible, Nginx, Gunicorn, and DevOps practices. Previous experience includes senior developer roles at Yellow New Zealand, GrabOne, Node Digital, Image Centre, and KiwiRail Ltd, where skills were applied in Python, Django, AWS, PHP, and C#. James holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Information Systems from Massey University and completed a Bursary at Awatapu College.
