Daniel Asika is an undergraduate student at Princeton University, pursuing an A.B. degree from 2022 to 2026. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Kleiner Lab, Daniel focuses on investigating dihydrouridine synthase enzymes in yeast cells. In addition to research, Daniel works as a McGraw Center Tutor, teaching subjects such as Calculus 1 and Advanced General Chemistry, and holds leadership positions in organizations like the Black Pre-Med Society and the Black Business Association. Experience includes roles as Advising Fellow at Matriculate, CPR/AED Instructor at Serenity Health Training Institute, and Research Assistant at the National Institutes of Health. Previous internships include managing surgical services at Beaumont Health and gaining medical experience at East and West Physicians. Daniel is also the founder of the Nigerian Healthcare Mission, which supports health initiatives in Lagos, Nigeria.
