Devin Fitting

After graduating from Purdue University in 2004 with a Bachelor in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering, Devin Fitting started work as an airframe design engineer for Butler. Over the course of the next few years, he held increasing levels of responsibility including developing, recruiting, and training various engineering teams across statics, dynamics, electrical, and support systems. Over his career, he became known for his ability to take complex issues and break them down to simple discrete problems in order to identify solutions.

Because of this, he was asked to become the UTC Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) lead for Butler. After assisting in achieving ACE Gold level certification for the West Lafayette Butler site, and providing over $10 million in customer savings Devin took on the role of Operations Manager. In the role as Operations Manager, Devin assisted in the transition to AS9100 rev D certification while expanding the AS9100 certification to additional Butler sites. Butler saw year over year of growth of both customer satisfaction as well as employee satisfactions.

Now Devin brings his belief and strategies of metrics oriented operation to his current position with the focus of providing the best experience possible to both customers and employees.
