Richard Alvarez

Richard Alvarez currently serves as the Coordinator of Student Involvement and Event Manager at Butler Community College since October 2021. Prior to this role, Richard held positions such as Corporate Sales Executive with Wichita Force Football, and worked in marketing and promotions for the Minnesota Twins, along with various internships and assistant roles in sports marketing with the University of Minnesota, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Minnesota Lynx. Richard's foundational experience includes serving as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Air Force from March 2011 to April 2017, where supervision and personal development of Airmen were key responsibilities. Richard Alvarez holds a Master of Education in Sports Management from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from American Military University.
