Scott Dawson has extensive work experience in the field of qualitative research and consumer insights. Scott most recently served as the Director of Qualitative Brand & Consumer Insights at buzzback. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Consumer Insights at Product Ventures. Scott also has experience as the Distillery Manager/Brand Builder at Pirtle Winery. Scott's early career includes roles as a Senior Manager, Research & Insights at Asurion and as a Market Research Contractor. Scott also worked as the owner of The Potter's Wheel Coffeehouse and as a Traffic Coordinator at Bott Radio Network. Scott holds a B.A. in Sociology with an Anthropology emphasis from UMKC.
Scott Dawson has a strong educational background in the field of Sociology. Scott obtained a Master's of Arts in Sociology from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where they studied from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology and Anthropology at the same institution, studying from 2011 to 2014. In 2010 and 2011, Scott attended Johnson County Community College, where they focused on Anthropology. In addition to their formal education, Scott obtained a certification as a Master Moderator from the RIVA Market Research & Training Institute in July 2022.
