Sophie Smith

Sophie Smith joined BW Group in August 2021 as the Chief Human Resources Officer. She is responsible for the people strategy and creating a workplace where our employees feel inspired, fulfilled, and valued to deliver growth for our business.

Prior to joining BW Group, she worked at Experian, where she most recently held the role of HR Director, Asia Pacific. Originally from the UK, Sophie started her career at Rolls-Royce and moved into HR leadership roles at 3i and NatWest.

Sophie graduated from Durham University with a first class honours degree in Geography. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
