Paul Wilson has extensive work experience in the field of transportation and infrastructure planning. Starting in 2000, they worked as an Engineering Assistant at Mouchel TSC. In 2001, they joined Highway Solutions Limited as a Transport Planner, where they worked until 2003. In the same year, they joined BWB Consulting Ltd as an Associate in the Transport & Infrastructure Planning Service. Paul quickly progressed within the company and became an Associate Director & Service Manager in 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Operations Director, overseeing BWB's Transport & Infrastructure Planning service.
Paul Wilson attended Lindsey School in Cleethorpes from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained their GCSEs. Paul then went on to The Cleethorpes Sixth Form from 1994 to 1996 to pursue their A-levels. After completing their A-levels, Paul attended Northumbria University from 1996 to 1999, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography.
In addition to their formal education, Paul Wilson also holds several certifications. Paul obtained the Road Safety Audit Certificate of Competency from the Highways Agency in April 2013. In June 2012, they became a Member (MSoRSA) of the Society of Road Safety Auditors. In November 2007, they became a Member (MInstLM) of the Institute of Leadership and Management. Paul also holds the Chartered Member (CMILT) designation from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, which they obtained in January 2007. Lastly, in July 2001, they became a Member (MCIHT) of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation.
