Walid Achkar

Walid Achkar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as the President of the Alumni Advisory Council at the University of Balamand since December 2018, Walid has been with Byblos Bank Group since October 1999, progressing through various roles including Head of Commercial Support, Project Manager, Head of IT Support Section, and IT Support Officer. In these positions, Walid has been instrumental in promoting digital banking services, managing projects, and ensuring high-quality IT support. Walid holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Balamand, earned between 1993 and 1997.
