Daniela Abril Gutierrez has a range of work experience in various roles and organizations. In 2017, they worked as a Construction Supervisor at Grupo EXE. In 2019, they served as an Architectural Drafter at Hermosillo, and later that year, they co-founded Patio Dos Taller de Arquitectura. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as an Urban Project Coordinator at Laboratorio de Invención para la Ciudad (LABiCi). In 2022, they became a Global Networks Intern at BYCS and later transitioned to the role of Project Coordinator at the same company. Daniela Abril also worked as a Guest Lecturer at Urban Cycling Institute for a brief period in 2022. Overall, Daniela's work experience includes roles in architecture, urban planning, and project coordination in both national and international settings.

Daniela Abril Gutierrez completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Urban Management and Development from IHS, Erasmus University Rotterdam from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) degree in Architecture from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, where they studied from 2014 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Daniela obtained a certification in "Studying Cities: Social Science Methods for Urban Research" from Coursera in October 2021. The institution providing the certification was Coursera.
