Experience Design Director at Beyond

Jade Fitzgerald has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jade began their career at Mekong Restaurant in London, where they progressed from a waitress to acting manager. During their time there, they honed their skills in customer relations and made valuable contacts.

After that, Jade joined Royal Free Hampstead: Outreach Services as a Healthcare Records Administrator and Team Leader. Jade successfully managed a team, streamlined workflow, and handled healthcare records clerical work while liaising with consultants.

Jade then moved on to Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust as a Healthcare Service Coordinator. In this role, they oversaw the smooth running of the clinic and managed organizational aspects such as ensuring sufficient healthcare professionals for patients, following up on referrals, and creating reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Subsequently, Jade joined Spindrift as an Experience and Business Consultant. Jade excelled in this hybrid role, quickly adapting to different project needs, acquiring new skills, and efficiently delivering client requirements. As a User Experience and Visual Design Consultant, Jade led workshops, created personas, user journeys, wireframes, and design documents, and conducted usability testing.

Currently, Jade is employed at Beyond as an Experience Design Director. Building on their previous roles, they lead the design team and helps shape the user experience. Jade'sresponsibilities include strategic planning, collaborating with clients, guiding the design process, and ensuring high-quality deliverables.

Throughout their career, Jade has showcased their adaptability, organizational skills, leadership abilities, and expertise in user experience and design.

Jade Fitzgerald's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Product Design from the University of Leeds, which they obtained from 2005 to 2009. In 2007 to 2008, they pursued an Erasmus program at HEI - Hautes Etudes d'Ingénieur, focusing on Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, and Organizational Management. Prior to university, they attended Henrietta Barnett School from 1998 to 2005.

In addition to their formal education, Jade has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the Mental Health First Aid certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England. In 2014, they earned a UX Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group. In 2012, they obtained the BCS Certificate in Business Analysis Practice, Foundation Certificate in IT Enabled Business Change, Requirements Engineering, and Systems Development Essentials with Agile certifications from The Information Systems Examinations Board (ISEB).
