Jo Vinckier

Jo Vinckier is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in lighting design and system engineering. Currently serving as a System Engineer at byNubian since March 2020, Jo previously held the role of Project Officer 'Smart Lighting' at KU Leuven's Faculty of Engineering Technology from February 2016 to March 2020, where Jo managed multiple projects focused on smart lighting solutions and knowledge dissemination. Prior to this, Jo worked as a Lighting Designer for iGuzzini illuminazione Benelux from September 2003 to February 2016, specializing in conceptual lighting plans and public outdoor lighting. Jo's career began as a Designer at Creapack, developing displays and packaging, and included a traineeship at Construct-Al in expo building. Jo holds a Master's degree in Industrial Management from KU Leuven and a degree in Industrial Engineering from Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen.
