Sam Adekunle

Sam Adekunle has a diverse work experience, starting as a Founder of Peered Camp from 2017 to 2019. They then worked as a Product Associate at TechCircle Nigeria from 2019 to 2020, where they executed ecosystem events and organized startup pitch competitions. From 2020 to 2022, Sam held various roles including Programs Manager at Fintech Associates Limited, where they co-founded a local innovation hub and authored startup programs. They also worked as a Program Manager at NOGTECH, organizing a hackathon and incubating energy-focused tech startups.

In 2021, Sam joined Fincra as a Technical Product Specialist, leading product integration and improving API documentation. They later joined Turing.com, serving as a Program Associate and then as a Program Manager in global communities, managing communication and product integration. Sam also worked as a Program Manager at BYP Network, planning and executing community events, and as a Community Consultant at Playgrid, managing a gaming community and launching content engagement initiatives.

Most recently, Sam worked as a Product Manager at Penalogue Inc, where they managed the development of an MVP product, created product artifacts, and presented product discovery activities. They are currently employed as a Community Manager at BYP Network.

Sam Adekunle holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Obafemi Awolowo University. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications in various fields. In 2020, they obtained certifications in Investment Banking from EduBridge Academy, Financial Accounting Foundations and Strategic Planning Foundations from LinkedIn, and Fundamentals of Project Planning and Management from Coursera. In 2019, they obtained a certification in Digital Product Management: Modern Fundamentals from Coursera. Furthermore, they hold certifications in How to Build Digital Products from Product School and Digital Marketing from HubSpot Academy, both obtained in 2020. Additionally, they obtained the Scaled Scrum Master Certified (SSMC) certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in January 2023.
