Michael Luciano

Michael Luciano is a software engineer with over 17 years of experience. Michael has held various roles in the software engineering field, beginning with Software Engineer at Michael Luciano Consulting in 2003. Michael then moved on to aCerno, Inc. in 2006, Akamai Technologies in 2008, Adchemy in 2011, Optimizely in 2013, Incentive Networks in 2014, and The Village, thecaringvillage.org in 2019. At The Village, they were the Technology Lead, acting as the sole IT Architect, DevOps, and Backend Engineer. Michael also developed the entire backend infrastructure using multiple AWS services, Golang, and Aurora MySQL. In 2019, they also began working at Byte Technology as the Director of Software Engineering.

Michael Luciano received a BS CS in the College of Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Vermont, focusing on Computer Science.
