Daniel Lopez Ridruejo

Daniel Lopez Ridruejo is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as a Member of the Board of Directors at Bytecode Alliance since May 2022, Daniel previously held the position of Senior Director at VMware AI Labs from 2019 to 2023. As the Co-founder and CEO of Bitnami from 2011 to 2019, Daniel led the company until its acquisition by VMware. Other notable positions include Founder of BitRock, Advisor at Beetailer, and Member of The Apache Software Foundation, where Daniel holds emeritus status. Early career experiences include engineering roles at devicescape and Covalent Technologies. Daniel holds a Master of Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad de Sevilla and a Master of Engineering in Optical Communications from DTU - Technical University of Denmark, and is an alumnus of Y Combinator.
