Ho-Ren Chuang

Ho-Ren (Jack) Chuang is a highly skilled Linux Kernel Engineer and Scientist with experience at leading technology firms such as ByteDance and TikTok. Prior to these roles, Ho-Ren served as a Software Engineer Intern at VMware and held the position of Audio Software Field Application Engineer at Texas Instruments. Ho-Ren completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Engineering, focusing on Operating Systems, at Virginia Tech from 2015 to 2022, and earned both a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from National Taiwan University of Science and Technology between 2008 and 2014.
