Jianxi Ye

Jianxi Ye is a seasoned software engineering manager with extensive experience in high-speed data-center networks and RDMA infrastructure, currently at ByteDance since December 2020. Previously, Jianxi held the position of Staff Engineer at Alibaba Group, focusing on performance improvement and system modeling for hyper-scale cloud infrastructure, as well as high-performance networking and RDMA. Jianxi's early career included a role as Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where responsibilities included designing distributed services for Azure network infrastructure and implementing lossless TCP and RDMA at scale. Prior experience also includes developing time-sensitive distributed applications for multimedia products at Harris Corporation. Jianxi Ye holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China, as well as a Master of Science in Computer Science from DePaul University.
