Arlene Mendez

Arlene Mendez is an experienced professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as a Validation Specialist and Lead Chemist at CAPS® (Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc.) since July 2017. Prior to this role, Arlene held the position of Quality Control Coordinator at B.Braun (CAPS Division) from July 2015 to July 2017, and worked as a Research Scientist at Rapid Pathogen Screening from July 2008 to April 2013. Earlier career experiences include roles as Scientist I at OraSure Technologies and Process Support at Abbott Laboratories in 2004, as well as Undergraduate Summer Research at the Medical University of South Carolina in 2002. Arlene holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez, which was completed in 2005.
