James Hoskins has over 15 years of work experience in the banking industry. James started their career at Coutts in 2006, where they held various roles, including Client Service Representative and New Business Officer. James then moved on to become a Banking Operations Team Manager and Credit Operations Team Manager. In 2010, they joined Metro Bank as a Commercial Customer Service Centre Manager, and later took on the role of PSD2 Business Support Manager. James also served as a Digital Operations Manager, overseeing a digital team and managing relationships with TPPs. In 2020, they joined C. Hoare & Co. as the Head of Transaction Operations before being promoted to Head of Payment & Lending Operations in 2022. Throughout their career, James has demonstrated strong leadership and a focus on improving customer experience and operational efficiency.
James Hoskins completed their high school education at Chatham Grammar School for Boys from 1997 to 2002, during which they studied various subjects. James then pursued A-Levels at the same school from 2002 to 2004, focusing on History, Geography, and ICT. After a break, James attended the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School from 2012 to 2013 to obtain a Post Graduate Certificate in Service Operations Management. Finally, from 2018 to 2020, James attended Cranfield University and earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Retail and Digital Banking.
