Chris Collier

Chris Collier has a diverse work experience spanning over several positions and companies. Chris most recently served as the Regional Sales Director for ConvergeOne in Alabama. Prior to that, they were the Director of Regional Services at the same company. Before joining ConvergeOne, Chris was the VP of Professional Services and Sr. Engineering Manager at Venture Technologies, where they also held the role of Technical Architect. Chris began their career at SouthTrust Bank as a Systems Services Supervisor and later worked as a Systems Engineer and SAN Administrator at AmSouth Bank. Chris has also held various technical roles at Vesta Insurance, EBSCO Industries Inc., Data Domain, EMC, and Symantec. At Strategic Allied Technologies, Inc., they significantly contributed to the growth of service revenue and served as the Engineering Services Manager, specializing in Virtualization, Storage, Backup and Recovery, Disaster Recovery, and Continuous Operations. Chris has expertise in Cisco UCS server technology, storage platforms such as EMC, VMware vSphere, and Backup and Recovery/Business Continuity. Overall, Chris has a wealth of experience in technical and leadership roles within the IT industry.

Chris Collier obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Samford University, where they studied from 1992 to 1996. In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained several certifications related to various technology fields including AWS Business Accredited from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Command of the Message from Force Management, Pure Storage Certified Associate from Pure Storage, and several others from different institutions such as Aerohive Networks, Brocade, CompTIA, EMC, Hewlett-Packard, and VMware.
