Gabriel Davis has worked as a software engineer since 1996. From 1996 to 1998, they served as a Systems Programmer at Facilities & Services Corp., where they performed complex compiler conversion on a legacy codebase and ported critical data processing tools from MS-DOS to Win32. From 1998 to 2006, they worked as a Software Engineer at Micro-Vu Corp., where they lead GUI & infrastructure development on InSpec, an automated inspection system for manufacturing applications. In 2006, they returned to Visicon Technologies, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they developed automated stage calibration and non-linear distortion correction algorithms for a new flat-scanning inspection platform. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as a Software Engineer at Solmetric Corporation, where they created software installers for desktop & mobile applications and developed localization frameworks and multi-lingual GUI designs. From 2009 to 2016, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Electro Scientific Industries, Inc., where they were a key software engineer on Geode, a PCB via-drilling system for High Density Interconnect (HDI) applications. Since 2020, they have worked as a Senior Software Engineer at C2Sense, Inc., where they are the lead algorithms engineer for AuthenTags, a groundbreaking technology with applications in anti-counterfeiting and package integrity verification, and for Halo, an embedded device for rapid medical and environmental diagnostics applications.
