Reine Opperman

Reine Opperman currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at National Security News since April 2024, while also working as a Marketing Associate at C5 Capital since July 2022. Previously, Reine held the position of Operations Manager at Ossa Collective from May 2021 to July 2022, where the focus was on enhancing the representation of women-hosted podcasts and brands. Reine also worked as Operations Manager for the startup Steereo in 2020, promoting music in rideshare settings. Early career experiences include an Operations Intern position at the South African College of Music in 2019 and roles as Assistant Director with Cape Town Opera for a production of Bellini's Romeo and Juliette in 2019. Reine holds a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance, specializing in Opera, from the University of Cape Town, completed in 2019.
