Melanie Johnson

Melanie Johnson has extensive experience in human resources, specializing in equity, diversity, and inclusion. Currently serving as HR Manager at CPP Investments since 2011, Melanie has progressed from HR Advisor to HR Senior Advisor in the same domain. Previously, Melanie held the position of Executive Assistant to the Senior Managing Director & Chief Talent Officer at CPP Investments. In addition to corporate roles, Melanie contributed as a Board Member for the Toronto Standard Condominium Corporation and served as Board Secretary for The Retired Teachers of Ontario. Melanie's educational background includes a Diversity & Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University and an Indigenous Canada Certificate from the University of Alberta, along with leadership experience as an elected Residence Councillor at Mount Allison University.
