Robert Mellema

Robert Mellema has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Robert is currently working at CPP Investments | Investissements RPC as the Managing Director of Private Equity & Real Assets in the Investment Portfolio Management Office. Prior to this, they held the role of Managing Director of Real Assets - Active Investment Management in the Total Fund Management team. Robert also served as the Managing Director of the Sustainable Energies Group in the Real Assets division. Before joining CPP Investments, Robert worked as a Principal in Direct Private Equity and Natural Resources at a Private Investments firm, and as a Senior Associate in Direct Private Equity. Robert has also served as a Board Member in Power2X, Wolf Midstream, Black Swan Energy Ltd., and Livingston International. Additionally, they held the position of Member Representative at WILLIAMS OHIO VALLEY MIDSTREAM LLC. Robert's early work experience includes roles at The Boston Consulting Group as a Summer Consultant, and at UBS as an Associate Director in Canadian Mergers & Acquisitions and as an Analyst in European Real Estate, Gaming & Leisure. Robert started their career as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at UBS.

Robert Mellema completed their education with an MBA from The Wharton School in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) from Queen's University in 2002. In 2000-2001, they were an exchange student at the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), specializing in a field of study that is not specified.
