Alexandra Rasch Castillo has a wealth of experience in the engineering and energy sectors. Alexandra began their career in 2012 as a Researcher at Berkeley Lab. In 2013, they took on the role of Project Engineer at the University of California, Berkeley, where they designed and installed solar projects in rural primary schools in East Africa. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Proterra Inc. in two roles: Technical Product Engineer and Engineering Program Manager, Battery Engineering. In 2018, they became the Founder and CEO of Caban Systems.
Alexandra Rasch Castillo received a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rice University in 2012, after studying there from 2008 to 2012. Alexandra then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Engineering in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, which they completed in 2014.
