Mark began his career at Cabrillo College as an athletic trainer in 2001. He began teaching Personal Health in 2005, and Introduction to Athletic Training and First Aid courses in 2009. In 2015 Mark became the Assistant Director of Athletics: Athletic Training. He would continue his work in the athletic training room and in the classroom before accepting the position of Associate Dean of Athletics, Kinesiology and Health Science in the Fall of 2017. Mark now works as the Athletic Director for Cabrillo College
Mark was born and raised in Santa Cruz and graduated from Soquel High School in 1994. Mark went on to get a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology from Sonoma State University in May 1999 with a concentration athletic training. Mark also received a Master of Arts degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University in December of 2004. Mark is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA), the California Athletic Trainers Association (CATA), the California Community College Athletic Trainers Association (CCCATA), and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
