Charles J. Scheerer

Charles J. Scheerer is an experienced executive in risk management solutions, currently serving as Executive Vice President and Market Leader at CAC Specialty since April 2024, focusing on Private Equity, Real Estate, and Construction. Previously, Scheerer held the role of Senior Vice President at Marsh from June 2021 to April 2024, and also served as Vice President, specializing in risk management for institutional and commercial enterprises. Prior to that, Scheerer was Assistant Vice President at Aon, providing similar risk management solutions. From January 2016 to May 2018, Scheerer worked as Portfolio Manager - European Union at Gabriella Imports in New York, overseeing import and currency risk for a French importer of high-end wines. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from SMU Cox School of Business, with additional studies at Copenhagen Business School and Palm Beach Day School.
