Shannon George

Shannon George has been a key member of the Cache County Sheriff's Office since 2003, advancing through various roles with increasing responsibilities. Currently serving as the Jail Administrative Sergeant since July 2021, Shannon oversees jail administration functions, policies, and the work release program. Previously held positions include Transportation Sergeant and Professional Standards Sergeant, where responsibilities included managing law enforcement accreditation and overseeing the jail staff. Shannon began as a Deputy Sheriff and has extensive training, including a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Utah State University and ongoing education at Bridgerland Technical College and the Fred House Training Academy.
