Alex Ankers has a diverse work experience in network services and telecommunications. Alex currently works as the Chief NetDevOps Architect at CACI Ltd, where they are responsible for building NetDevOps and automation practices within the company. Before that, they were a Network Engineer at Atkins, where they focused on IP network planning, design, and implementation, particularly in railway signaling systems.

Alex's early career involved various roles at Network Rail, including Senior Network Engineer, Graduate Network Administrator, Graduate Operational Security Analyst, and Graduate Infrastructure Solution Architect. In these roles, they maintained and troubleshooted faults in the network, provided support and advice, and worked on security measures.
