Divya Thakore (Mohan) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Divya began their career as a Communications Specialist at King Marketing Ltd., where they focused on maintaining consistent branding and managing digital and physical assets. Divya then moved on to the Canadian International Development Agency, where they worked as a Marketing Communications Specialist, developing and implementing a communications plan to raise awareness of new domestic violence legislation.
Divya then joined BC Hydro, starting as an Events & Sponsorship Planner, where they sought out sponsorship opportunities and planned the company's presence at various events. Divya later became an Advertising & Brand Planner, responsible for creating marketing and advertising campaigns, and a Public Affairs Advisor, managing communications programs and maintaining BC Hydro's public image.
