Marcelo Pontes

Marcelo Pontes has extensive work experience in the architectural and virtual reality industries. Marcelo was the Founder of estudio 6 architects in 2001, and then went on to become the Cofounder of Cactus in 2017. In 2008, they became a Partner at superuber: art, technology and design. Marcelo also founded mpdm architects in 2007, and in 2015 they became the Owner of Sensorama Experience, a virtual reality company that specializes in building ultra-immersive simulation thrill rides.

Marcelo Pontes attended Colégio da Companhia de Maria from 1990 to 1993, where they completed their Ensino Médio. Marcelo then attended Faculdade de Arquitetura e Urbanismo da Universidade de São Paulo from 1994 to 1999, where they earned a degree in Architecture, Design and Urbanism | Arquitetura, Design e Urbanismo.
