Jon Talmadge

Jon Talmadge is a highly skilled engineering professional with extensive experience in product engineering and design. Currently serving as a Principal Product Engineer and previously as a Lead Applications Engineer at Cadence Design Systems since November 2013, Jon has demonstrated leadership in complex engineering projects. From July 2007 to October 2013, Jon worked at General Electric as an Electronics Design Engineer, where responsibilities included leading a global team to develop embedded hardware and software for washer and dryer platforms while managing schedules, costs, and quality metrics. Additionally, Jon contributed as a refrigeration cost-out engineer in the Edison Engineering Development Program, achieving significant cost savings. Earlier in Jon's career, a brief internship at Boeing Satellite Systems involved creating specifications for the next generation of DirecTV satellites. Jon holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with minors in Math and Economics from Purdue University, completed in 2007.
